Autumn going into winter
It's been a little while since I posted my last set of images here, since none have deserved a dedicated page. So instead of a single page per session I've put together this collection. The page title alludes to going 'into' winter since I'm planning a photography trip at the end of the year which will deserve it's own page! Stay tuned.*
*scratch that, my trip to Iceland got cancelled by the airline due to extreme weather conditions in Reykjavik. Oh well, I'll have to wait a while to get some northern lights photos.

Great Budworth (2nd September 2022)
Great Budworth is a village and civil parish in Cheshire. Until 1948, Great Budworth was part of the Arley Hall estate. I went to visit a friend's grave here.

The Photography Show (17th September 2022)
This was my first time visiting the photography show at the NEC, Birmingham. Full of photography nerds; great day out! A good opportunity to see cutting edge gear, see talks from great photographers, and snap some oddities...

Manchester (21st December)
A mooch around Manchester starting at Moose Coffee on York Street. I can recommend the bacon, sausage, corned beef, and cheddar potato hash. The coffee will take the skin off the roof of your mouth*.

Christmas
Well it's the time of year to build things! First on the agenda was this wooden globe. Reasonably simple, but a nice "brain off" activity.
Time for a quick coffee before the next project.
I always try and go for some exercise on Christmas Eve. I was looking for ideas and remembered my mate Jim gave me a convenient little book of Peak District walks. Dovedale was one I’d never been to and home to the famous stepping stones (see below). It took nearly 90 minutes to get these shots without people in them due the popularity of the trail; nice to watch the World go by.

Dovedale, The Peak District (Christmas Eve)

The famous stepping stones at Dovedale. It took 90 minutes to get a shot without people spoiling the view! But that's ok. Nice to chill and watch the world go by.

... stay tuned for more...
