Mid December Macros
With the Christmas holidays fast approaching I thought I'd take a stroll out with the camera. Makes a welcome change from working at home and being mostly stuck inside during the hours of daylight.
I've not taken the macro out with me as my sole lens for a little while now, so it was refreshing to try and look at the world in a different way again; trying to capture the magic of the micro-world.
Though I will say, drab UK December does make this quite a challenge!

Look at my pinecone!

Can't wait

Does look a little bit like they've put Santa on the gallows to me...

And a few more from New Year's Day!
